I remember this one! :) Sung by Edison Lighthouse! :) It was one of my favorite songs when I was a teenager.
You really did a nice job of remaking it, Tony. I had sent you an email checking on you to see if you made it through the storm all right, and thought I'd come by to see if you'd logged in..and you had, plus put up a new song! :)
I really enjoyed the listen...don't bother coming by, I don't have anything new up...no time to fool with the music these days; I'm working hard. :)
All is well, however, and I'm on my third listen of this song, again, very fine job on the remake! :)

I used to love this song when it was a hit over here in the UK. You've done a fantastic jobs on it Tony. Nice and punchy. It's been wonderful to be reminded of this great song.
Deserves to be a Soundclick #1,which I've just noticed that it is today.
oh, and thanks for adding the guitar chords with the lyrics. I'll have a play.

Just as good as I knew it would be, faithful to the original, which I remember well as an excellent pop song in terms of melody, fairly ordinary lyrics - but it doesn't seem to matter on this. We take your vocals and guitar-work for granted Tony, but where you excel is in the fine detail, not just the harmony and strings, the tiny little extras that many people maybe would not notice - I don't mean S/Cers, we notice EVERYTHING! Great job.

As great as you are Tony, you should record much more than you do.
Do you play music live, at this time? I would go hear you.
Hugs to you and your family.
A masterpiece....this song certainly is, the way you have done it.
I wish you would always let me know when you upload a new song.:)

Wow. This is a great cover of a great song. It seems like you keep taking your recordings to the next level. Music of the 60s and 70s just seems to have so much more melody and hook. It's great to hear you keeping it alive in these wonderful renditions you're giving us here on soundclick. Again this is a excellent job on a great song. Thanks for the great memories your recordings keep alive.
