Nice one Tony ! You write some great songs in that Beatles/ Merseybeat style ! It’s the vocals that you’ve absolutely got right for the genre .

Hi Tony, good to reconnect with you again, thank you my friend. This song is not only done alright but shines trhrough and through, especially vocally, a lot of times when I listen to artists, their vocals are vovered a lot by over reverbing and echoing, gets burried, not in this case, love the vocals and harmonies, and the instrumental section perfectly complimentary to those vocals, most important. When one listens to a song that's vocal, first thing we listen to is the vocal and lyrics. A very well done job here my friend, keep up the great works.

Very high quality in all respects, everyone will have their own favourites I'm sure - I'll check the other comments after I write this - but for me the highlight is the harmony work you have done with yourself and the chord structure in the various parts of the song. I've not looked at the chords in any detail on songs they wrote but as a Beatles fan, are you familiar with the British band Oasis? If not, I think you'll enjoy having a listen. Or even if you are!

You really do have a great Merseybeat sound! Love the harmonies and the guitar work. Are you sure you're not from Liverpool? Lol.

Tony, nobody on SoundClick does McCartney like you! Loving the retro Fab 4 groove of this catchy song. Better than some Paul solo songs I've heard.
Ironically, I just performed a Beatles tribute show in a local park near the beach yesterday. I'm back in action with a new track on SoundClick.
Yes, you've done alright, Tony. Very alright indeed.

Great 'Retro' sound. I know that term is a little over used now, but I can't think of a better one just now. This is Uber cool my Beatle friend. This could be what The Searchers could have done if they'd got their act together better and progressed. As catchy as only a catchy thing can be . . .at that's very catchy indeed.
Right, all back to your place . . ha ha :)

Hi Tony,
Brit Pop Rules! - Just listened to I've Done Alright (and you certainly did). Some great little Beatlesque nods and riffs. Great stuff. Also, big apologies for being off the circuit for the last two years!

Nice guitar work. Nice guitar arrangement on this. The mix is just right and does not over ride your vocals which is great in using retro lead guitar. :)

Agree with the last 2 comments, you can definitely nail that Mersey retro style. I wish there were more songs like this these days, it is catchy & an ideal radio song. Love the melody & harmonies, great vocals & perfect guitar work. Instantly engaging, superb song!
