Story behind the song
This blues instrumental was recorded and mixed to sound like an old scratched up 45 record. I recorded this after I had just watched a show on TV called "Brother Where Art Thou" (not exactly sure of the name...lol), a show about some convicts on the run in the old days... Anyway, Izotope Vinyl was used to get the scratched record sound. All guitar tracks were made with my PRS SE guitar plugged into the Flextone amp. Flextone setting used was a Matchless amp model. The Matchless amp sound is a modern sound but it sounded best when I was selecting an amp model to use. I couldnt find my slide so a 15mm socket from my tool box was used on the slide guitar track that served the purpose...Recorded on June 24th and mixed on June 25, 2006. Thanks for listening!!
