Story behind the song
This was written back when the U.S sent troops into Granada or Panama I cannot remember which one. But it was around Christmas and I was really feeling empathy for our men (really not far removed from being kids) as they were alone at Christmas. It is very appropriate today due to our huge deployment of troops in the Gulf.
